Reusable Paper Towels

loveishomemade

Hi Fam! Now that I am partime and stay home with the kiddies full-time we have been looking for easy ways to cut back on spending (little cut backs add up!) One way we are doing it while also reducing our waste is using reusable Paper Towels AKA cloth towels. I have the rolled up on my paper towel holder so they are just as convenient to grab as paper towels. Once they have been soiled I have a small rolling hamper right inside my laundry room that they get tossed in, along with kitchen and bath towels, and once the hamper is full or I am running low I toss then in the washer and wash on a high temp setting. Once they are dry I roll them back up on the roll that they came with (see video). I then slide them off the cardboard roll because it doesn't fit on my holder and boom, whole new set of clean towels and nothing ended up in a landfill and I didn't have to make a trip to the store! Full disclosure we do have paper towels in the closet as a just in case BUT I only pulled them out when my dad visited. You can find the cloth towels we use on my Amazon link! I only purchased one set in December 2023 and so far they are holding up great! Anyone else use cloth towels?
