About Love is Homemade
Hello, and welcome to my blog! My name is Tori and I am a momma of two beautiful, bright, children and the wife of a US Marine that was my high school sweetheart. We are slowing starting our homestead while still in the military, so that once we get out we can buy land, build our dream house and give our babies the healthiest, happiest life we can.
I grew up going to my papa's farm, riding horses, playing in the woods, and going to church with my entire family on Sundays. I am a prior US Army soldier, graduated from Missouri Baptist University with a BS in biology and started my career in clinical research in 2021. After having my second child I made the decision to stay home with my babies and was blessed to be allowed to stay on with my employer as a part-time remote position. Currently I am working 20 hours a week in clinical research as a data specialist, full-time SAHM, slowing learning the homestead ropes, and sharing my lessons, failures, successes and tips with you on this blog. Oh yeah, I am also writing a book! BUSY, I know, but I wouldn't have it any other way. Please join me as I learn and grow in this season of our lives, and PLEASE share any tips/tricks/incites! Thank you for stopping by, I hope you stay awhile!
